Roboraptor

i little while ago i said my raptor has a mouth problem, i opened him up today.

there is a arm in side that controls the mouth linked to a wire, this arm is not stuck the wire is not stuck. in having the raptor apart i noticed the arm moves on all commands but the attack command.

is it poss that the bodycon was not installed, im thinking its a programing fault not a parts fault.

Could anyone tell me if it is better to purchase the Roboreptile and not the Roboraptor? Is the Roboreptile the latest of these two to hit the stores? thanx

What is the difference between Roboraptor model number WS8095GB01 and EL8095GB01 - besides the price? The WS model is about double the cost of the EL. Is it worth it?

i lost the instructions, how can i put my roboraptor in playful mode and the downloadable manual doent work for me

Sarita told me a really good website for electronics in Canada, and i decided to get a roboraptor too, but this page says roboreptile but shows Roboraptor. Anyone have ideas of what it really is? Thanks!

I just scored a dead roboraptor from ebay for real cheap (7bucks). there was a cold solderjoint from the battery box in his Belly. I didn't get the remote with it, so I havent put it through all it's paces yet.

Is there a problem, or are these beasties just miserable walkers? He really just rocks and shuffles along. and when he backs up to turn away from an obstacle, the poor beastie looks more like He's about to wet his pants than walk. after seeing how my Roboreptile " Boot " moves, I think this old boy might still have more problems..

Any ideas?

I go it just last night at radioshack, Believe it or not luck was on my side because I got the last bronze one they had.

I am having so much fun with it, I would've had pictures last night but I was too lazy to do it last night not only that I was having too much fun with my new roboraptor.

I will post pictures later, I have not come up with a nickname yet.

Ive always wanted a dinosaur for a pet, but then again i also wanted a Robot, guess this works for both..

though i am enjoyng my new found toy/pet.. I was wondering why kind of modifications could be done, maybe in the AI area that i could possibly upgrade making him more intelligent.

I guess im over simplifying it. to create autonomous robot that im thinking of, he would need more then just sound and IR sensors. but be able to understand what i would say would be cool, maybe have a motion sensor. or a kind of spectrograph for a sense of smell..
