Wrex looks much more complex that I thought - though much of the innovation seems centered around his personality. Are you going to include him in the list of bots compatible with Robodance?

I'm impressed by the Bat's ability to fly slow (and it looks like it can hover). Reminds me of hummingbird flight. Could you post a video of it flying fast & at full throttle?

Just watched roschler's video. Some observations : * Tribot looks capable of navigating rougher terrain, not just carpets. * His homing capability looks like a variant of the original Roboraptor's "laser" dot tracking talent *...

This clip shows HAL's flexibility (climbing & descending stairs, sitting down). There are also good closeups of how it's attached to the wearer's body :

Maybe a paperclip :) For the Bladestar to be able to "move" substantial weights you'd probably need neutral buoyancy, a party balloon should do the trick.

The 1.2 volt rating of rechargeables vs. the 1.5 of regular duracells is not that big a difference. Non-rechargeable batteries real power output tends to run down over time while rechargeables give the full 1.2...
Reply to Bladestar not very responsive.... on April 13, 2008
try the 9v Duracell batteries & see if you get a more responsive Bladestar. Generally it's not a good idea to use batteries with voltage ratings much lower than what's listed on the equipment.
