General WowWee Discussion
I want to build a tiny obstacle avoiding robot using a 3v coreless DC motor. I've been using this L293D to control 5V motors and up, but I can't seem to find a motor controller that works with motors below 5V anywhere. I also have 3V two-step motors, but I would much rather use the 3v coreless DC motor if possible:L293D-Motor-Driver is a typical Motor driver or Motor Driver IC which allows DC motor to drive on either direction. L293D is a 16-pin IC which can control a set of two DC motors simultaneously in any direction.
Hi, I am looking for the software for the Wowwee original 8000 RoboRemote. Anyone have a copy of this or a link that is still alive to get it please? Thanx,Lou

Hi I have an RS Media robot but need a new controller, does anyone know of anywhere in the uk where I might be able to get one? thanks
My daughter's femisapien will no longer power up. When it's turned on, only the red wrist lights come on. There's also a problem with one of its arms, but I'm not going to worry about that unless I can get the electronics working again. So, I'm looking for schematics, or troubleshooting tips. I've already swapped the batteries, checked the fuses, and checked for broken wires. Beyond that, I'd need a schematic to know what and where to probe.Any help would make me (and my daughter) very happy! Thanks in advance.
I dont see many people advertising anymore that they work on thier own roboquads I have a number of them and some need repair are there still people out there that work on these,,or atleast give me some advice? I have 2 red ones and two white ones that need thier legs repaired or atleast the switches reset on the motors? I also have several other robots needing repair and yep they are wowwee robots.
Competitive Robotics will be hosting the annual Robot Rumble at Sacramento State University Union Ballroom 6000 J St. Sacramento, CA 95819 on November 21, 2015 from 11am - 4pm. Come see the battle bots build by local schools battle for the championship tournament. There will also be a STEM exposition where different engineering clubs will be displaying projects and sharing information. Everyone is welcome to come bring the whole family!!
So I bought the ramp. and all it does is flashes its white light and doesn't recharge weapons after cars jump over it. Help please.
