Hey guys. Imagine my surprise when, a few days ago, the Wowwee online store changed the Femisapien's order button on the shop from "Pre-Order" to "Add to Cart!" Could it be? I had to try to order one. Anyway, I'm now the proud owner of one of these delightful bots (she came in the mail today). Just so you guys know, the FS is now shipping!

Femisapien or Femsapien?

I've noticed that a lot of folks have been searching for "Femsapien" rather than "Femisapien." Does anyone know if this has been circling around as the proper name for Femisapien? Maybe just a typo? Really, I'm guessing that everyone is thinking of the "Fembot" from Austin Powers when they type it in :)

Femisapien SDK

Hi everyone, I'm a complete n00b to the whole Robo community. I was curious about some of the features of the Femisapien. In particular, will there be an SDK? I am interested in having the Femisapien acquire a few of the features of the Chatterbots. In particular, simple email notifications, perhaps Twitter, appointment reminders. I'd love to walk into the room and say "Check my email." However, if the Femisapien does not have a USB connection, this is pretty much impossible, right? Thanks in advance!

Here's our first chance to play with Femisapien, thanks to Pete R and WowWee! Removing Femisapien from the packaging meant wirecutters and knives for tape slicing, as usual. But she was liberated pretty easily, as there were only 3 wire wraps and no screws. Batteries (6 x AA) go in the feet, in true *Sapien form! And here she is, all ready to meet and greet with Robosapien!
