Problem Rolling

Hi, I'm posting this in the hope that someone will have a suggestion, but it's not the end of the world if not; I got a Roboboa off eBay for £15 and it arrived today. Brilliant! I think it's great and the way it interacts with RSV2 and RQ is Top Banana. The only problem is when it tries to roll somewhere. As you probably know, before the Roboboa starts to roll, it lifts itself up so that its tail touches the floor and off it goes. The problem with mine is that it lifts itself up and starts to roll, but as it rolls, it's main torse lowers until eventually, the rubber wheel on the tail is no longer touching the floor. This happens 95% of the time. Sometimes (5% of the time ;-) I don't get this problem. To my untrained eye, it looks like the motor is having trouble keeping the torso/head up. I've checked the connections inside and everything looks Ok. If I move the head back far enough with the remote, I can cause the Roboboa to roll forward with no problem (though the wheel does squeak a little at times). So, I'm thinking it...

Hello, I have been hearing alot about Roboboa, and I was just wondering if it is worth what you pay for it. By the way, how much does it cost? If it's over $100, then I don't think I would get it, even though it does seem cool. Also, if I do get one, I want to know what to expect when it comes in contact with a Roboraptor and a Roboreptile. Whoever has either robot and a boa, please post a video showing the interaction. Also what kind of batteries does it take? I tried to download the manual, but it took to long. Thank you for anything you can do for me. Oh, Nooribick? )Sorry, I don't know know how to spell your name), You have a boa, how would you rank it?

RoboQuad VS RoboBoa

First I gotta say in my "personal" opinion.. I REALLY love the appearance of RQ & RB.. cuz..you know.. they don't pretend to be like a livin creature. They just are what they are..a ROBOT. So the thing is.. I'd really love to get both, but for now I just have to choose one. And I'm gettin confused. My mind is more to RQ(since it looks more flexible and the appearance and the 14feet 'scan' thingy).. But RB's features like 'alarm' and by watching the DEMO video where it actually follows the hand when you move in front of it..looks so cool. And I'm really hopin that when I get one of these two..it'll get along with my cat. So I need some advice. Which one would you suggest? the RoboQuad or the RoboBoa? (I read enough reviews..I need to here some personal exp. it would help me out a lot:)

Commentary & observations tomorrow. The Wowwee Roboboa is basically a mobile intelligent robotic arm with infrared vision and a quite a bit of extra stuff thrown in. It's also a steadier wireless camera platform than the other Wowwee bots due to it's smooth locomotion. Just to give a rough idea of the robot's physical flexibility - here are a few pics :
