I just picked up a U Command WallE from Toys R Us for $39, he's pretty cool. Infrared controlled, not quite full motion control (one motor, forward or spin), head moves, eyes move, arms move...

This may have been a bad idea, but I bought a broken V2 on eBay this week. He just arrived yesterday, so of course we had to break out the screwdrivers and determine the extent...
