Formerly MarkC of robosapien.tk forums. I firsted hacked my Robosapien V1 in late 2004 and haven't done any work on him since mid 2005. This Christmas I received a Robosapien V2 and a Roboquad. I've had the chest plate off RSV2 and taken a look inside his head. Hopefully I'll post some photos and document what I've seen in there on my website.

Previous mods to Robosapien V1:

• PIC micro controller "brain" added.
• Hands swapped (left for right)
• Hand LEDs swapped out for violet ones
• LCD installed in chest cavity along with dual PIC micros
• "Alarm Clock" Robosapien is born.
• Fried orginal Processor and was subsequently replaced.
• Mapped circuit boards into circuit diagrams and parts lists.

What might I do with Roboquad?

• PIC micro brain
• LED swap
• Install SP03 text-to-speech module
• Map circuit boards (would be interesting to see how much of the original Robosapien goes into the latest models)
• Open to suggestions...

• LED swap / addition
• Map circuit boards
• Dissection tutorial
• Any other ideas?
