Decoded/Decompiled Wowwee Robot Commands

Based on this lovely YouTube video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CYsXKRmaQug&index=3&list=LLdm1UAO1Xfve0o...) I was able to get the source code for my CHiP robot dog app. I have all the raw files for the app, including all the commands that are under the folder bluetoothrobotcontrollib. Since I really am not that good at programming, is there a way I can run these commands by pairing my CHiP (or other wowwee) bot to my computer and then play various sound and movement files? Let me know if any of you have done this or would know how. I think it could become a fun project and I will provide screenshots of the JAVA files if needed.

Hi Enfari, Thanks for the information. This allowed me to extract the sources myself.Did you have any new developments in your project? (could you connect to the robot programmatically?)thanks

Hi,Did someone try to open an compile the sample Android project provided by Wowwee herehttps://github.com/WowWeeLabs/CHIP-Android-SDK ?According to the screenshot it was made with Android studio 1.5.1 while current version is 3.0.1 and therefore there are errors when opening the project. Is there a way to run some "compatibility mode" to make the project compile ?

I had some errors compiling mine too, likely due to my Android sutdio being out of date. Also does anyone know if there is a Bluetooth code to get a chip out of DFU mode? I have tried updating the firmware on two different phones and it says "firmware interrupted." Now the dog is stuck in DFU mode and Wowwee customer service is dumber than bricks when it comes to any issues other than copy/pasted answers from their helpsite (Tumblr post or YouTube vid to come later).
