Does anyone know if the Roboremote software  was updated to control Roborover as well?   I wanted to get one for my Roborover but assumed, just like Mr. Personality, that WowWee didn't update the software.

I cannot say for sure, but here's the download link for the software in question.

The pdf manual doesn't appear to be updated with any robots after RoboQuad. That doesn't mean the software hasn't, but it's not a good sign.

Somewhere in our community threads there was quite a lengthy discussion of how folks created their own robot definition files for use with roboremote. If we have to, we may be able to roll our own support for the new critters.

Thank you for the info Mr. Scott. If history repeats itself, maybe Michelle will chime in again that the engineers are working on it......or not!

AFAIK, last available version or RoboRemote Software has stopped at Femisapien and TriBot support. It seems, WowWee have a tendency to "forget" supporting their past products too quickly :(

But if RoboRover's IR codes are derived from TriBot's (like Femisapien's derived from RSv1) - I think, it's possible to add a support for RoboRover by yourself, by just editing a text config-files.
