Great news, Rovio owners!

I've just uploaded a new version of the Rovio Software to the downloads section -- it's version 2.0b and the "silver bullet" Rovio Software Installer. This means it will automatically update to the latest version of the Rovio Software (when it is available). AND, It will also automatically update Rovio with any firmware updates available when setting up.

Here's what the package includes:

-----------------------

- Rovio Setup (new version)
- Rovio Restore (new version)
- Rovio Setup Updater (new version. shortcut has been removed as it is done automatically in setup)
- Rovio Finder (old version)
- Uninstaller
- enumvcom.dll (vcom usb driver)
- core.mod (console application used to pass commands to the vcom driver)
- Wowwee.ax (library for the camera plug-in for msn and skype)

Known issues:
- Application hangs for 2 seconds on administration page

-----------------------

Have a go it and let us know what you think!

When I use the Rovio setup, the core.mod crashes.

This happens when I am selecting the wireless network and once I press the next button.

I'm running Vista 32 bit with a Intel core duo 3Gig processor with plenty of memory.
