Go for it! The isobot is somewhere on my list of 'bots to get someday, so I'd like to hear peoples' experiences with it.
Watch out, don't step in the anthropomorphization.
Tuesday i get my Isobot so if you'd really like to hear my first experiences with it and how i think it compares to RS-Media i'll write a quick commentary tuesday night.

I-sobot is on my list also , but not quite no.1 on the line ...
I think is an better deal now that I have an RS Media and now when I know that the plus he has in from of I-sobot (the capability to be programmed and to perform an unlimited combinations of "feel" and "response" , thanks to it's sensors and motors + 2.1 audio onboard) it's full of errors , bugs ... in a tree words IT'S NOT WORKING! at all ... i would chose the I-sobot now!
I still wait for an simple and bugless ... hope will die last !

I say go for it also, I almost bought one until I seen how small it was. but I would like to hear about it from someone that has had time to play with it.

Welcome to the boards.
Please post your opinion on the two bipedal robots.
They are radically different in size, technology and capabilities.
But if it came to a no-holds-barred fight, the larger RS Media will whoops iSobot's ass...

The poor iSobot is more precise, but it can barely reach the top of RS Media's armored shins.
Hail fellow isobot owner! I'd be interested to hear your impressions as well.

Hey guys, can't wait to get my Isobot tomorrow, but let me ask you something, do any of you guys have Robot magazine's winter of 2007 issue ? The one with ISobot on the cover because they reviewed it.
I ordered it and got it today and i gotta' tell ya' the things in there that they say Isobot can do were really blowing me away, i mean i also have the fall issue of Robot magazine and RS-Media is on the cover of that, because it's reviewed, but even in that issue Isobot had a spot on the cover and a 4 page preview review of the japanese model and i'm really impressed with what i'm reading thus far.
I'll let you guy's know first hand when it gets here tomorrow...Well til' then, later.
I'll look for that issue tonight... To me, the drawback seems to be mainly that there's no other method of programming, and the remote loses any program when you turn it off. They are fun to play with though!
