I've found that since you can't program autonomy, just program the escape scan as many times as possible!

I also have some technical questions and possible problems with mine. When he walks forward, is each leg supposed to lift off the ground? Mine doesn't. Even on full battery he doesn't. How fast is he supposed to walk? Could you give me a link?

Thanks!

Have you read this thread?

The recommendation boils down to

Try these personality settings: Awareness= Amber Aggression= Amber Activity= Red

Yes, I've read it, I was only saying that even though it's not in real autonomy mode, it will still walk around and explore. Besides, escape scan is pratically all it does on all red personality lights.

You know better than I. I've owned a quad for less than a week, and it's been powered on for less than 10 minutes total so far.

How do you like it? Does each foot lift off the ground when it walks?

With less than 10 minutes of play time, I haven't formed an opinion as yet.

J.T. - check the video out on this thread. It shows a Roboquad in action. Should answer your question about the walking.

Thanks for video! I've seen it before, but it does help. I used a better brand of batteries, and found out that mine does pick on FULL battery only.

ou I'm not sure I understand why you would replace the batteries every day unless you play with it non stop..

Ah it's my old thread. That was a good one. Everything in there is pure gold (ego check).

Ok generally RQ doesn't pick his legs up a lot. Mine picks them up a little until he gets low on batter then he sort of drags them.

Roboquad should go, on full speed (press forward twice), about say 2" per second?

Robo, BG said:  Roboquad should go, on full speed (press forward twice), about say 2" per second?

Yes that is about right BG or it may be closer to 3" I think but then again it depends on what surface you have him on.

Fastest on hard surfaces as usual.

Truthfully I was guessing on the speed per inches thing.

well BG you pretty much hit it on the spot as I got it to walk at 2.5" per sec.

Enjoying the ROBOQUAD experience?

Hey that's a good name for a band...

"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN (and Jax(jk)!) THE MAIN ACT! THE ROBOQUAD EXPERENCE!!!"

or maybe Roboquad and the Circuit breakers!!!!

I like it! Seeing as I'm a drummer, I'll have to start a band now. Er, I don't have to pay royalties for the name do I? (Heh Heh!)

Mine didn't last to long. I sold mine because my dad just hated the motor whirring. Now I miss my little quad.

Last words I said to my Roboquad:
May the force be with you.
Remember the roboquad. I miss him.
