     Hi All,

I just got a roboquad as a gift yesterday.  I thought it was cool.  Today I went to play with it and when I turned it on, it would just move the front right leg around and around and would not respond to any other commands.  When I replaced the batteries , it did not help.  Has anyone else experienced this?  If so, do you know how to fix it?  I am 11 yrs. old and do not know how to take apart the robot.

       thanks,

Hm, I haven't seen that myself. Can you try moving all the legs into the center position under the body, then turn him on? He should move all the legs when starting up from that position. Otherwise it might be best to try to return it, if you can?

All of the legs do work, but robo goes right into moving the right front leg in a constant circular motion. It is not the batteries, we tried fresh ones and it did not improve. I guess I will have to return it, but we will not be able to get another one there. They are in scarce supply at this date.
THanks for your input.

We can probably walk you through opening him up, I would suspect the sensor on that leg of not being plugged in, or having a problem. I'll try to put a link to a good thread that explains how to take him apart.

The right Leg homing switch is stuck. You have to remove the shell and lift up on the switch to loosen the switch lever. That will fix your problem

GWJax, To Hack and make mods on robots is a life style and comes natural and not by choice. If a robot has a screw to open it then it must be opened!
