Hey guys, just wanted to bring this cool and affordable new bot to your attention. It's called the Hasbro Ampbot. It uses segway tech to move around on its two wheels and plays music from your ipod. It can dance along to the music and follow you around the house. Unfortunately, it requires a bunch of batteries instead of having a rechargeable pack (my biggest complaint with any of wowwee's bots). But, it offers 10 hours of continuous play using 12 watt stereo speakers. This would be an amazing platform for some sweet hacks like voice command and adding some cup holders to carry your drinks, and for a $500 launch price this fall, its not too bad.
