Embarassed OK, Simple, yet dumb question. Any One have an Idea on how to clear the Vision & Sound subroutines?? I started out, trying to get an RS Media to take a video, if either visual or audio guard modes were tripped. Made a few mistakes doing that; and tried to clear them, both by using the single step erase, and whole program erase modes. Both SEEM TO Work (the robot responds that memory is Empty); yet when they are triggered with the appropriate commands afterwards, the program I "Erased" Is still there & Running. Any Ideas, folks??

As moderator, I edited your post to move it to the RSMedia forum.
Different robots have different mechanisms to reset their programs.

I haven't experienced any trouble wiping the RSV2 sight and audio response programs, but an RSMedia owner might have more information for you.

I don't have an RSMedia, so all I can offer is a parotting of the manual's instructions.

Much like the RSV2 that I own, it looks to me as if you first need to select the program you want to work with.

LeftShift - x : select vision program
or
LeftShift - c : select sound program

Once a program is selected,

LeftShift - z : to clear a program

You mentioned the "whole program erase mode", so you probably are already doing this.

Speak up, RSMedia owners. Is there something else, other than what the manual describes, that is required to clear the stored programs?

It sounds like you are talking about trying to clear a bodycon (or macro), using the commands to clear his onboard program memory. Which are two seperate systems. So how did you create this program that you are unable to clear? and what "appropriate commands" are you issuing that activate it?

Nocturnal, using the controller; I put it into puppet mode, and then went down to the sound and vision subroutines (each separately). What I wanted, was to have the RS Media take a short video, if it was disturbed by sound or motion. (As a BTW, Im working with the Dr. NoBot personality that I d/l'd into the RS). I MisRead the command set, however, and now it does a "double" left & right low pick up, if it is triggered. Ive tried the global and step by step erase modes on both the subroutines, but when I use the Playback commands for both, it runs the commands Ive Input, despite telling me (after Ive tried the clears), that it HAS cleared the memory's. If It lost back up, when the power was removed, Id do the work-around of removing the batteries, and having the programming clear.
