Our cat decided the bladestars wings looked like great chewable and playtoys, Yes the spares too are all trashed. I can't find spares in the Wowwee store, anyone found them?

Hello Robostuff!

I just heard that they should be available in the next couple of weeks. Keep your eyes open in the WowWee store. If you don't see them, let me know.

Thanks :)

since you have both set eaten up by the cats, don't throw them away yet. Try this and experiment with the foam sheets that they use for hobbie crafts. the sheets that I'm talking about are the very dense but yet flexable foam sheets that kids use to make visors out of and other soft felxible things like what they put into scrap books as well. Wal-Mart, Target, or a craft store will have them in their hobbie section. Cut out the shape of the blades and attach the locking platic hook to it. check it out first before adding the aluminum tape to the edges. I you don't know what I'm talking about let me know and I'll find a picture of them and let you know where to get it or better yet, I may try this myself then show you how to do it.

Thanks to both of ya, and yes GW I know what your talking about I'll give that a whirl until the spares come out. This same kitten chewed on the Dragonfly tail too, I guess I should have known better!

Robostuff Let us know how those new foam wings work and if you can get a pic of it. Thanks

Its won't have the same curvature that the normal wings have, but if the BladeStar evolution article is anything to go by, it should still fly.

you can get a somewhat curvature by wrapping the foam aroung a 6" tube of PVC pipe and hit it with a heat gun this should give you a bit of a curve to the blades but not like the originals though.
