I have developed, with the help of a shareware program, a set of infrared codebases that can be used to turn your Pocket PC or Palm PC into a fully-functional remote control for your IR-based robots. Not only will this help benefit those, like me, who are missing the original remote, but you'll no longer have to keep up with ten different remotes. Simply select the robot you want to control in the software's menu and have fun.

Currently, I only have these codebases available:
   Cyber-Spider (WowWee)
   i-Cybie (Tiger/Silverlit/Hsbro)
   Robopet (WowWee)
   Roboquad (WowWee)
   Robosapien (WowWee)
   Roomba Discovery SE (iRobot)
   Rumble Robots - Bitor (Trendmasters)
   Rumble Robots - Me-Fisto (Trendmasters)

Hopefully, this will encourage you to donte your own IR codes to this project!

Nice site, I Have a big Track and the transporter that is a dumpster attached to the BigTrak and lost the manuals when I was a kid. Now to this sight I have the manals again so I can get it out of the attic and start playing with it again. Thanks for the sight. If I had a Pocket PC or Palm I would donate all the code I have for this project But I don't have either one. Mabe I'll get a Palm and make a robot out of it in the future then I will donate to it.

GWJax, To Hack and make mods on robots is a life style and comes natural and not by choice. If a robot has a screw to open it then it must be opened!

Thanks! I'm always glad to hear from visitors who are enjoying my hard work :) The Big Trak is and awsome little toy. I haven't come across the transporter yet, but maybe one day (fingers crossed).

Check back, because I try to add new items to the page at least weekly - usually daily, when I can.
