Say I'm browsing around in a thread, I see a comment that I've posted, I move the cursor over my avatar. It shows that I've written 4 threads, yet if you go to my member contributions page, you'll see that it shows 7 threads. I don't get it. If you could help me, I'd appreciate it.

United StatesYou may want to try refreshing your browser, clearing your cache/cookies, etc. This could help resolve the issue.
Also, there could also be a delay - in other words, if you just posted the thread, it may not yet be refreshing in your avatar.

count in the little hover window is based a count done nightly
you have 3 comments today, so tomorrow you should see the 4 become a 7
