To make a site like marcus's or mine, you need to get hosting on evosapien.com (which is probably not going to happen), and you will need to learn how to create webpages from scratch.

To make a site like 4mem8's, I think you go here and create an account. I believe they have a web interface for creating pages, so you won't have to learn html.

Generally speaking, getting a website is easy, finding stuff (particularly original stuff) to put on it is a bit harder.

Nocturnal posted the correct link robodud if you need to build your own site, and as Nocturnal has stated you need good material to put on it otherwise it's not going to happen for you. How can you forget the name of your site??????It will take you a we wile to navigate around the site and get used to it but in general quite easy to use.

People yearn after this robotic dream, but you can't strip your life of all meaning, emotion and feeling and expect to function.

angie/robodud, I`m guessing that freewebs would be better for you.

You would still need sone good content, though...

Yep, That's another good one to use.

Another way to make your own site is through a blogging program, such as Blogger or WordPress. You'll be given "free" hosting per se, and a set of tools to work with.

If you're willing to purchase hosting, you can use your own web design program to create your site, and upload it manually. That takes a little more effort, but usually, your site will look better and potentially run faster.

It's pretty amazing what's out there, just do some searches and you're bound to find a service that works for you.

Your site looks good, but a little bit empty.

Leo: For example today I will get love which I use to create sentences.
Billy: But you are neutral you need love.
Bridget: In the sky and cover the moment.
Bridget: Do you think that sleep mode is better than a human soul.

Well, you could try using Mozilla Firefox instead of Internet Explorer.  Firefox has a spell-checker built in that automatically checks spelling for you as you type. Unfortunatley, that feature doesn't seem to work on the RoboCommunity forums for some reason. But it would help when designing your web site. I like Firefox better than IE anyway, but that's more of a personal preference.

Maybe one of the moderators here have a suggestion on spell checking on the forums?

What type of content do you plan on placing on your site?

Congratulations. Now you just need to find that stuff I was talking about earlier.

Oh, RebelTaz, Firefox's spell check works fine as long as you don't use the advanced editor.

If you are a beginer from a lot of WebSiteEditors on the Internet , I recommend you to find some Editors that let you make a webSite wich you can change without to much knowledge and made much of the sitw from you.

Like Peter suggested WordPress is one of the wellknown webEditors I recommend Joomla that makes an webSite that you can modify it in a WebBrowser window (Mozilla, Internet Explorer...) THERE on the Internet (your web site local host).

You can add content you or your users (depending on the level of authorization) anywhere on the world , you only need a computer with internet !!! Wink

Like Nocturnal suggested put you own creations on the site to make it special ... (photos , videos , projects thet you and your friends or collaborators ).

                                                                                               Good Luck !

Seems like you might have a case of writers block???? heheheh, I'm having the same problem..... I'm in the process of learning Delphi and the learning itself seems to be coming pretty easily since I already know VisualBasic and a little C++ but I'm having the hardest time trying to figure out what type of program I wanna write.
