any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

i like my reptile but i cant fully enjoy it knowing its not working properly.

If you have used the RR alot before you put him/her away for a while you might want to look at the foot pads and make sure that they are not woren out. If so then either make new ones or sculpt a strong dab of hot glue on them and reshape the pads to match. If you can take a picture of the feet and post a video we can help you out further.

im pretty sure its not the pads because it veered to the right the first time i got it. the pads couldn't have been it cause i got it new. also in my oppinion, the angle of the veer is to big for it to be just a pad problem

Robomike, I have had my reptile for a year as well. All the vids and somtimes even on the commercial it veers over to right. So technically, this is normal. It was made to do that so it's not going in a straight line. (It's supposed to add to roaming technique) So your reptile is not at fault.

I have to disagree J.T. mine goes pretty streight when walking foward, he will drift to the right abit then drift to the left a bit, but all in all he will walk streight, and it depends on what he is walking on. In the house we have tile and that will turn him a bit more because of the grout lines but in the garage with a smoth floor he walks streight with an ever slight drift to the right or left.
