Mega Mech is a inflatable R/C robot I managed to get from ebay for $17.

He`s 4 feet tall, and can say a few words in a really sterotypical robot voice.

Not bad for $17!

That's really cool, rybuger1, and you're right, it's not a bad deal for under $20. Thanks for taking some nice pictures, too!

Does it have a small speaker somewhere, where the voice comes out of? Where is the button you press to get it to talk?

I'd guess in the feet along with the wheels. The button is probably one the remote.

Looks like WalMart has them for $20 if anybody else is interested.

RadioShack sold something like this that was about 3 feet tall a couple of decades ago. It had their typical cheap-o single button radio control. Press and it goes forward. Press again, and it does a reverse J turn. Press again for forward.

the speaker`s on the base, along with "try me" and mute buttons, but the button to make him talk while driving is on the controller. The mute button`s usefull, considering that he talks automatically when he drives forward or back.

There are some smaller inflatables out there for those who might be interested.
