Ok, its working again, but I can't help but notice that it list this thread, which I have participated in, that has no replies, and was created by me, as being unread.

i'll take a look at the unread/read problem you mentioned

as far as the slowdown goes, i bet it was an overnight DB job we ran last night

overnight, for U.S. folk, that is...apologies to the Australasia folk

Its still doing the listing as unread, threads that are read things.

For example, it currently lists this thread

http://www.robocommunity.com/forum/thread/12732/Wall-E-Robot/

as containing new unread posts, despite the fact that (currently) the last person to post in that thread was me.

Here is a screen shot, as you can see, it list the three most recent thread as containing unread posts, and show that I am the last poster in those threads.
