I`d go with robosapien v2, sure, he costs more than v1, but you can get some great deals on ebay.

I'd like to suggest that you use that Search field up at the top of the screen and put in a few keywords for general topics you're interested in.  Most of the questions that new members have have been asked and answered in other threads here in RoboCommunity.

I have noticed that V2 is the best one for me. They are smart, quiet and can stay up all day. I am already planning to get my third V2 because I love to see what happens when he meets Robo and Medi (V2 robots which I have at the moment). Playing with batteries is anyway painful. I am already now charging batteries all the time.
