If anyone has been trying to find a Roboboa but just coudn't, like me, then I have a solution, although it is a little expensive.

This is a place in Honk Kong selling Roboboas for 64.99. Great price right? Shipping is like between 56-59. Oh well. If you really want one though, this may be your only hope.

United StatesI have had very good luck with Play-Asia in the past, and have ordered a few things from them. I believe one of the things I ordered was a connector for my Cobalt Flux DDR pad (a small item). The ordering process went smoothly. I will mention that shipping was somewhat slow, but the item did arrive in perfect shape.

And this other looks the same, but it's even cheaper than previous one.
The only thing is that no shipping cost stated to USA. But it should be similar than previous one, because it's the same guy who is selling it...

Abilene Texas, United StatesThis thread's timeframe is March 27 thru April 9, so I realize that it is rather old. But I want to make an observation on the PlayAsia reference as a possible place to aquire a RoboBoa for USA customers. I was interested in the RoboBoa myself some time ago, and found the PlayAsia site thru google.
... aside from my concern of giving my credit card number to an unfamiliar site (unfamiliar to me), at PlayAsia where it says (Roboboa) VERSION:, it specifies 'Hong Kong'. So I have to wonder what the difference(s) would be between the 'Hong Kong' 'version' of RoboBoa, and one aimed at a USA market.
My guess is that it's exactly the same version, as I don't think it was ever intended to sell in volume in the US warranting another version. I got my roboboa from the US WowWee Store last fall and I believe the whole thing w/shipping & tax was approx $120.00 US. As far as I know that was the only place you could easily get it in the US other than if it showed up on ebay. Also the shipping box has stamped on it in huge black letters: Roboboa Item #8032 "box 40 of 50' and "WowWee Store, Made in China" so I'm guessing they only sent a batch of 50 to the WowWee Store in the US from the factory/ warehouse? It was only available from the WowWee store for about two months and they haven't had them since so I guess it was a one-time thing.

Argh, thats frustrating, because I REALLY want one of those! ... and a RoboRemote ... Oh well. I am supposed to call someone in Canada tomorrow (I was referred to them through an email response that I recieved back from the WowWee USA sales rep). Maybe (hopefully!) this call to Canada will yield something.
If not, I guess I will have to risk the PlayAsia site (again, I am a bit anxious about credit card numbers -> overseas sites).

That's really strange. How did you find that listing? I tried searching "title and description" for "roboboa" on eBay with the key word "roboboa", and it said 0 matches. Is their search broken now? (I also did a "Completed Listings" search and got nothing either.
Right now they R selling Roboboas at the wowwee store for $69USD, just ordered one :-)
