Do you mean his head won't tilt up/down, or he won't swivel the head/neck side to side?

Hmmmmmm.....probably neither. Am I right Andew? I don't have a quad, and I have a question. Are any parts on roboquad fragile and easily breakable?

Have a question about dinos? Then ask away.
Hi andew
Does the head/neck move when not in demo-mode, ie when commanding directly with the remote?
Also, was the roboquad brand new & boxed when you recived it? Just thinking that if it was pre-owned, someone may have messed with it...

would the last human on earth, please switch on the robots before leaving. Thank You.
Hmmmm. Could be a broken neck motor or a jammed geer.
The roboquad's neck is easily breakable along with his legs. His torso and head however seem strong.
I would say take off the head and look inside. See if you can find a jammed geer or if maybe the motor isn't responding.

I'm sure what ever you did the first time you fixed this problem, you might have to do it again. Please post what fixed the problem in the first place and I'll see if I can help you.

The head only holds the eye leds, RX,TX, connector for the head tilt sensor. It's the neck he is having a problem with which is controlled in the body along with a VR sensor for positional sensing attached to the motor which is the connected to the main board.

Since we haven't established which joint in the neck (you could refer to either of the as a neck problem), the problem could be in the head (ie the VR connection in the head).
However, if the joint isn't moving at all, and it can be moved relatively freely by hand, I would say it is a motor problem, not a sensor problem.
correct N. will just have to wait for a better problem statement with more detail else we are like fish out of water.. hehe

Andrew, I have 2 quads one red that I do mods to and one white one that has never een opened, What pictures do you require to be posted as there are many out there in the threads already. I'm sure I have every part of the Quad in my database but I'm not going to post them all unless I know which ones you need.

Andrew there are no motors in the HEAD per say, But in the neck joint and on the base of the neck, I'll check my files and see if I can find them, If not I'll take pictures of them.
