Hello, SmileI have been hearing alot about Roboboa, and I was just wondering if it is worth what you pay for it. By the way, how much does it cost? If it's over $100, then I don't think I would get it, Undecidedeven though it does seem cool.

Also, if I do get one, I want to know what to expect when it comes in contact with a Roboraptor and a Roboreptile. Whoever has either robot and a boa, please post a video showing the interaction.Laughing

Also what kind of batteries does it take? I tried to download the manual, but it took to long.Smile

Thank you for anything you can do for me. Oh, Nooribick? Surprised)Sorry, I don't know know how to spell your name), You have a boa, how would you rank it?

Did you read the Boa dissection article that appeared this week.

http://www.robocommunity.com/article/12121/RoboBoa...-Dissected-/

Did you read the Boa hack thread that been updated recently?

http://www.robocommunity.com/forum/thread/13089/roboboa-hacks/

At least some of your questions are answered there.

Sometimes you have to do actually search for the information, not wait for it to come to you.

In the US its a moot point anyway, unless a used one shows up on eBay. They only seem to be available from overseas so you're looking at $50+ in shipping alone.

Visit my Roving RoboReporter blog!

Wow, who would pay $50.+ for shipping? Well I mean, I would if the product itself was $0.01! Oh, and yes I did read the articles. You gotta have alot of guts to take something that expensive and rip it open! The reptile and raptor, I can understand. But a $200. robosnake? No way.

Batteries -  4 x size D cells  for the Boa itself, and 4 x AAA for the controller.  I use recharbles (size D) with 7000amh rating, the 2400amh don't last very long.  Unfortunately his Wowwee bot is still pretty rare - not even Amazon has it.

$200?
On ebay the price is much lower.
Here in the UK you can get them from Argos for £70.
Not sure how many dollars that is.
You tube has videos of roboboa and you can find out all about him.
