Well I was tired of the old Yellow Hand LED's. I decided to swap them out to some bright blue ones. Here are a couple of shots.

I am toying with doing something else to him or possibly to RoboPet. I also want to Change the LED's on my RoboQuad. I am tired of the boring red ones. Where do you get your superbright LED's from?

hi Mudbugnla, nice job, that looks really cool!  I downsized your images a bit (to 550 pixel width) to fit the forum, and made them link to the full size images. I too am going to brighten up my Roboquad, I have a chunk of blue EL wire to try!

Thanks for downsizing the pics for me. The LED change in the hands was fairly easy. You have to be careful when you take the fingers from the arm socket not to break the wires. Kool, I was thinking on a bright white or a violet for Roboquad. What are the voltages for the Roboquad LED's? Is it still 3.5 to 3.7 volts?

Good question, I'll have to check. There might be some info on 4mem8's mod pages too, since he did the LED exchange first.

It all depends on what LED your talking about, I had to bring down my voltage to 2V for my quad with a 1K resistor connected in series with the LED, Just because of the rating of LED I used. This was for the bottom base LED's I'm talking about.
