Has the backend of the image uploader changed? In the past two days, no matter what thread I am adding images to, the image uploader popup shows ALL of the images uploaded to ALL of my threads and ALL of my blog posts, ALL of the time! This is going to get really out of control in a day or two! This issue coincided with the addtion of comment snippets to the notification emails.

Say it ain't so, Joe.... I'm a prolific picture poster.

Just checked.... no pics in my uploader area at the moment... maybe the buildup is just for pics uploaded recently?

...but then again, I have uploaded a pic or two yesterday, so it doesn't seem to be combined cache for me.

Well, If it's of any interest ALL of my photo's that have been posted regarding Wall-E are still there in my uploaded section!

So that makes two, but why you two?

I was under the impression that images are attached to a specific node, I would have thought that when you used the image uploader, it would only show the images that were linked to the node that you are editing.

*Tilts head* I wonder if some of your images were not properly linked to a node.

What can I say? I have a fragile disposition, and things that don't work the way I expect upset me greatly.

I'm going to forward this on and see if we can find out what's happening.  I haven't been experiencing this issue myself.

Thanks for letting us know, I'll keep everyone posted.

I'd delete that duplicate post, but now that it's been edited to not be a duplicate, it actually adds new content to the thread, and I kind of like seeing it there.

As an update, I saw the first hint of this issue when creating my two BigLots toys threads last evening. I originally planned on putting them both in one thread, but changed my mind once I saw how many pictures there were for the two toys. I'd already uploaded them all under the Scorpion thread.

When I went to create the Hydraulic thread, I saw that all the pictures I'd uploaded for the previous thread were in the Uploader window.

Checking now.... and those pictures are still in the Uploader window while editing this post, too.

I'm used to board upload albums being user specific, not thread specific. That helps me share a picture between multiple threads, or recall what pictures I've already used in other threads.

I can see how it will make for a cluttered album in a very short time.  I'd prefer to see a folders approach added to the current user album, rather than split the albums to be "user on a thread" specific.
