I just got my Roboquad and it seems to have an issue with its right rear leg.  On power up, the front legs will wiggle and set, then the back legs wiggle and the left rear leg sets, but the right rear will spin for a bit and finally set in any old position.

This doesn't seem to be proper behaviour.  Has anyone else seen this?  I did a search of the forums, but did not see any mention.  Any ideas on what I need to check?

Thanks in advance.

Sounds like there is a problem with the position switch. Each of RoboQuad's legs has a switch that the RoboQuad uses to know when the leg is in position. If the switch is broken (disconnected or whatever) it won't know when the leg is in position.

Here's a photo

That was the same answer I was going to give. It must be a bad connection or the switch poped out of position and look for a broken or pinched wire.  Also check the solder joint on the board where the connector is attached to. GWJax

Thank you Nocturnal and GWJax.  I figured there might be something wrong with a positioning sensor.  Good to know it is a simple switch.  Looks like I will be opening up my Roboquad a bit sooner than planned.  Probably won't be til the weekend, but will post to let you know how it goes.

I made a Modification with the chrome plastic reflectors found in solar lights for lil feet, they seem to be working well and they are replaceable!!!! My RQ has been cruising around outdoors in some pretty interesting environments as the pads become uneven they "re-wear" so they become even again due to the conical shape.

Just wanted to let everyone know my leg problem has been fixed.  The lever that sits between the switch actuator and the cam on the motor shaft was a bit tight.  It would get pushed up against the switch acutator and get stuck.  All I had to do was loosen its mounting screw just a tad and it freed up and the leg is now all better.
