Hmm... I posted this video not all that long ago over here.

I don't recall people talking about lego NXT much, I think 4mem8 might have some.

Thetinman: I have two sets of NXT, Have built a couple of models. I need to spend a lot more time with NXT, I have a number of NXT books for future swatting, Some good experimenting to be had. If you want to get into robotics this is a good first start choice. I am certain you will enjoy it. You can also acquire Technics pieces that are compatable. Over the years I have collected about $3,000 NZ worth of Technics including the two NXT sets, and 5 Mindstorms Risc 2.0 sets. Lots of fun. With the Mindstorms sets I have loaded Robolab 4.5 software instead of the software that comes with the sets as Robolab is more versatile.

I have also acquired two Lithium ion battery packs that clip under the NXT, saves going through all those AA batteries.

2nd NXT set showing the servo motors.

2nd NXT set showing the sensors. Light,Sound,Bump, and Ultra sonic.

    I have the NXT too ... It's SUPERB !

Tones of possibilities , extraordinary  programming software ... no other EXTERNAL tweeks required (only in exceptional cases [PSP control ...]). I think that Robo-Haks in LEGO's case it's  a pleonasm.

Introduction (but not ONLY) in robotics has to be by definition LEGO. (no comment needed)
