have you gone into robot settings and switched him in to   usb mode ??????????

at the bottom of your computer screen theres a panel where volume, connection ,lots of other stuff .there should be one that when you hover over it with your mouse ,say hardware click it diconect device .then try buttons .........

right connect bot to comp switch him on . comp will find him then lose him well mine does says fault .dont worry . go into bot settings switch him to usb mode , on . then your comp will find new hard wear .open with windows , files will come up then you can drag files into bot ie personalities like c3po ect ive got them all on mine .this is the only way ive been able to put music personalities photos on him . . hope this helps the only thing the softwear does is helps you put your own personalities +body cons ect .i never use it to transfer photos stuff ..
