Are any of you feeling inspired by the video in this thread?

What pets do you have? What robots do you have? AND -

What ideas do you have for "dueling" them? Show us you can create your own "Pet Vs. Robot" video - let us know if you just can't wait to make one! Of course, no animals or humans will be harmed in the making of these videos :)

We can't wait to see what all of you come up with!

Pete

Do pet Dust Bunnies count? Tongue out

My girls ride horses. No way I'm bringing a bot to the barn. Horses are _way_ too skittish. Somebody would get hurt. Likely not the robot, though. I expect the horses would go every which way but towards the interloper.

Yes, I would agree.  My sister used to ride horses, and she knew people who got hurt.  She also was hurt herself; she was thrown off of a horse.  Definitely not a good idea.

Now dust bunnies... I'm not sure if they'd put up much of a fight, although I've seen some get pretty big :)

Dust Bunnies have killed more pieces of electronics than all the WowWee bots combined.

Legend writes-

Follow only if ye be men of valour, for the entrance to this cave is guarded by a creature so foul, so cruel that no man yet has fought with it and lived! Bones of full fifty men lie strewn about its lair. So, brave knights, if you do doubt your courage or your strength, come no further, for death awaits you all with nasty, big, pointy teeth.

Just get one of these and all will be well, for thine foe, being naughty in His sight, shall snuff it.

Watch out, don't step in the anthropomorphization.

I have a cat, Roboquad, and Robopet. Any suggestions?

I have two cats, son has a hamster. Someone rigged a hamster ball as a robot controller, but I have to look up the link! I'm going to try attaching catnip toys to a RoboQuad when we get one; the cats have been pretty stand-offish to RoboPet and RoboReptile.

Och, here it is!

LMAO, Milw, now thats a cool idea if you have a hamster. Have the hamster clean your floors instead of you always cleaning the cage and getting nothing in return. Nothing comes free now adays you must do work to survive and so shall the hamster.lol GWJax

Like rock paper scissors-
hampster eats roach
hampster eats roach
hampster eats roach
hampster regurgitates roach

milw your killing me!LOL Although in the last part of the video the roach got stuck on the wall. I guess the lights really dont work for it all the time. This is where a small AI program should take over to get the roach off the wall or a shoe will stomp on it. I'd still go for the hamster bot. At least you have a cute little furry friend to play with instead of a dirty roach and a big one too. Bring out the Raid! GWJax
