Just a question....

Regarding the AA batteries housed in the feet of the RS Media, would lithium batteries be better to use than regular AA's?

ya.... you could

but i use rechargeables , it's not so bad to take them out at nigth (well every other night , not that thay have run down but i don't whant them to so.....) charge them over night. put them back in the morning. DD's  as well as AA's

dose save money in the long run

i still believe

In that case, it'd be nice if someone figured out a quick-release latch for the battery covers. Undoing those 6 screws every night and redoing evey morning would drive me crazy!

I did have a question in regards to battery Voltage.  I do know that there was a thread posted a while back that briefly touched on this... but I could not find it again.

RSMedia requires D and AA batteries.  Disposable ones run at 1.5V, however, rechargables run at 1.2 Volts.   No matter how much digging I do online, I have not been able to find a 1.5 Rechargable D or AA battery.

Is this voltage difference going to possibly cause any issues in any of the RSMedia's systems?

Easy peasy.......just type RS Media rechargable batteries into the advanced search box at the top of this page and you get 2 pages of forum posts........
