As we all know, the RS Media's battery consumption is nothing les than frustrating.  I've been using mine for a day now and I've noticed that he's beginning to slow down as his batteries are draining.  He's even having trouble sitting without my help.  Should I change its batteries now or wait for it to tell me too?  Can low batteries be detrimental to hs servos?

Low voltage isn't a problem for the motors, and he'll shut down when he notices the low level. But that is frustrating - are you walking him about a lot? I'll have to try making mine sit up- he's still on some pretty old batteries, but usually I just have him doing dance routines or taking pictures, not trying to walk.

Yes, I've been allowing it to roam all over the first floor of the house.  How low must the batteries get before it realizes the low level?  It's kind of interesting actually; it has not as much of a problem standing up, but cannot sit up by himself anymore.

Precisely how long will his batteries last?  I understand the level of use has something to with it, but an average amount of time would be greatly appreciated.
