I finally ordered a roboquad(no, i'm not adding a cheezburger turret) from target. I've been waithing for enogh money for one, and i got 75$ from christmas, earned more untill i got 80$(i got my mom to pay some of it(shipping & tax)). I hope it's not defected :)

this is an update thread. though, it's not very good. i'm just posting what is going on when i order it to when i (or someone else) ends it(which will probaly be when i report, if any, problems or whatever happens when i first take roboquad out of the box.

i got it from target.com. Roboquad mini didn't do very good on me. The box said it had IR sensors on it, and all it did was walk around.

ok!!!! my roboquad came in the mail yesterday(busy playing with him(family had a blast)). the only thing i don;t know how to do is make him go up to something and do that eeeeeelllllloooooooo sound and wave. anyway, he walks around my house like a little alien pet that's almost like a tv with the controller!

my friend says ASIMO is way better than anything better than wowee or even roboquad, but if he played with one, he would take that back in an instant! ROBOQUAD IS THE GREATEST ROBOT EVER!

you guys were right! that box is super hard. i guess they just don't want roboquad to come out and invade the whole world even more XD

Yeah, I like your avatar, I,robot114.  And I like smilies too! Wink

My RoboQuad box wasn't that hard to get open, but un-attaching her from her little "pedestal" that she came on, now that was a piece of work. Not to mention *hides head in hands and whispers* my brother accidentally "gouged" Zoe beside her right front foot with his razorblade knife.

GWJax, To Hack and make mods on robots is a life style and comes natural and not by choice. If a robot has a screw to open it then it must be opened!

so, how do you make roboquad go up to something so he'll do that "eeeellllllloooooooooooo' thing and wave?

Well um he only does it sometimes.  I would say that keep trying it in smart scan.  That's when he does it.  He scans then stops at one side and goes aaaaaaooooooo.  Then he rotates and walks a bit towards it the goes eeeeelllllloooo (or it sounds like that!).  I can't figure it out.  Oh and he does it in awareness green.
