Did you get a fake one?
I here lots of people talking about altutudi how do you gain it !!!! i tried everying stalling and then flooring it then pedeling it then pedeling then flooring it -.- NOTHNING please help i lost all my wings and this is my 4 set i always bend the rood
No i got it at wal-mart in scarbrourught and its already has like 25 scraps on the head and a deep gouge on the underbelly i got it for 59.00. Next time i am getting one of this site
I also have a blue one (well it was blue). And I'm thinking about trying to find a green one for my oldest son.
I have had very little problems with mine. But there are several things I've always done with my Dragonfly.
One, start with brand new batteries in the controler. Then drain the Dragonfly's batteries by hold it in one hand and pushing the controler with the other hand. Do this until the dragonfly is almost completly dead. This means that it only flaps it's wing three or four times then stops. Then do the tail a bit, as it takes less power to run, there is still a little juice left in the battery. Do not drain it until it is completly dead, though. THEN, hook it up to charge with the fresh batteries. Let it charge until the eye's stop blinking.
Doing this I can maybe fly about 20 times for 10 minutes each before I start to notice flight times starting to decrease. Once that starts to happen, gaining attitude is almost impossible. If you are outside (with very little wind), you can sometimes head into the wind, and get it to do the "Climb, Stall, Fall" routine. If you can keep the dragon fly heading directly into the wind, and the wind isn't too much, you can gain attitude slowly. But this is not very easy to learn.
I spent maybe 50 hours flying inside after the first time taking it outside. ANY air movent will cause the dragonfly to respond to it. I found that even in my living room, within 5 feet of an air duct would affect the flight. I have a very small living room. Once I master being able to fly three times around the living room (controller set to low, and the tail ribbon attached), I then worked on flying without the ribbon. Master setting on the controller was way too much for the small area I was learning to fly in.
After that I was always looking outside to see if there was no wind. Anytime it looked still I would go outside. Even then there would always be a bit of air moving around. But I have been able to get my dragonfly above the power lines and over a neighbors two story house, and about three houses down the block.
So.. darn that was long. <s> Fresh good batteries in the controller to ensure the dragonfly gets charged fully. Learn to fly first where there is no air movement.
Then go out and take on the sky.......
