I recently received a dragonfly - only had 3 charges so far. It is so much fun! Anyway like others here I found mine has a tendancy to undulate which made it hard to fly and maintain altitude so I decided to try adding some head weight as suggested in this forum. I used stick on rubber feet - one on each side of his head so they look like big black eyes. The ones I used are the ones that come with Cisco gear (that you never use because you always rack it). With these in place and the tail ribbon I find it alot steadier. See Photo, notice I've also got a great stand for my DragonFly Wink

Hehe... not sure about the best buddies, I think he might be jealous as I play with the DF more now Wink.

Update re Feet: After further experimenting I've decided the two of them are a little too heavy as it makes it too difficult to climb when in a place with high ceilings or outside. It seemed better in my small living area though. I might try slicing them so the rubber circles are thinner.

Heh, for headwieght on mine, I simply put a screw under the black part on it's face (after I stuck duct tape on it's head to get an approximate weight needed for balance).

I've saw a lot of RS Media robots from different guys ... and like you BigKid they do not remove those plastic from hands power cables. (see those transparent things). Why?

P.S. just curiosity... I did remove to my robot by cutting them with a scisor...

I dunno, never thought about it. No reason, just never removed it. Laughing
