The kit is only available at Java one currently. Also I could be wrong but I think the newer US release of RSM has some upgrades over the current version so I don't think it will work on our RSM's anyway. See Davin's blog for his comments in response to Nocturnal.
In this article it says that it needs "The Netbeans Robot module development SDK" . What is that ? Can we get something like that ?

The SDK will also be available soon from the Sun online store. We will let you know the second that happens, so that you can jump over there and snag one.

See Davin's blog for his comments in response to Nocturnal. There has been a lot of confusion on this topic (including in my head). I have finally gotten the word from WowWee, and it appears you can use the SDK with any RS Media (except *maybe* the really really really early ones, which Davin's looking into). I will post the definitive answer / explanation to the conversation you refer to in your post.
I bought my RS Media three days after they became available in Australia (thats approximately seven months by my count) and the SDK appears to work (mostly).
Jeff, do you know how many variations of RSM are out there? Also how we can tell which one we have and what the differences are? Finally are the changes just firmware and can the older ones be upated?

Where did you get the SDK from? I cannot find a download link anywhere...
Dradts... You can't download it. Someday you will, but not until Sun and WowWee work out the legal issues. A *few* copies will be available at the Sun online store soon (we'll let you know when), but that's it for a while. Not sure where Nocturnal got his, but I assume he knows someone who got one at JavaOne.
