Version 1.0 of the Go-Robo Programmer is now available from www.q4technologies.com

The Go-Robo Programmer is an Integrated Development Environment (IDE) and a multi-track program and audio media player for robotics programming - in everyday language, you can program your robots and make them interact to music and sound effects. It’s fun, it’s straightforward and it’s educational.

Go-Robo supports all of the Wowwee Infra-Red controlled robots and it will support the coming Wowwee Infra-Red controlled robots on their release.

Go-Robo Programmer has its own, custom scripting language – GRIDscript. GRIDscript is an easy to learn and powerful script language purpose built by Q4 Technologies for easy robotics programming.

The in-built Go-Robo Player lets you sequence GRIDscript programs for multiple robots to a backing of MP3, WMA and WAV music along with sound effects.

You can see videos of what you can do with Go-Robo Programmer on YouTube.

To use Go-Robo Programmer, you need one or more Wowwee robots, the Go-Robo Programmer software and a compatible USB Infra-Red device, at present Go-Robo supports RedRat3 (www.redrat.co.uk) and USB-UIRT (www.usbuirt.com).

Go-Robo is compatible with Windows XP SP2 and Windows Server 2003. Vista will be supported soon.

Q4 Technologies is a UK based award-winning developer of educational software. Our philosophy is “If it isn’t fun, don’t do it”.

Enjoy…

Peter Kibble – Q4 Technologies CTO.
