when my v2 walks his one arm keeps scraping his leg plus he turns to the left pretty well but takes a very long time to turn to the right even when turning in place.

try tile floor and check the batteries if not reset him with shift 1 shift 2 stop. if he is scraping his leg then it's deffective or it's supposed to be like that.

Thanks but its not the floor he is walking on.  Its because his right foot moves farther than his left when he walks.  I just was not sure if they all do that (to help keep them from walking into walls and other obsticals) or just the one I have.

By scraping, I mean his left arm scrapes his left leg when he walks.  Whenever he walks and starts to switch from standing on his right led to standing on his left one his upper body tilts to the left so far his left arm just goes right into his leg.  I haven't forced his waist motor bbeyond its limits or anything.  The scraping just sort of started happining with no apparent cause

it's most likely deffective.

my robot keeps saying i think i have a bad motivator, user error, can you tell me whats the problem?

May 30, 2007 2:24 PM

Dee, I would think it is the tilt sensors.  i have not actualy taken apart a v2 so I would not know the exact reason or way to fix it.  The people that could help you are Milw, Nocternal, and marcus.  They have messed with these robots enough to tell you how to fix them.

With the scraping you can just move that arm out, and to keep balence you can move the other one out.
