I have got a serious problem with my RS Media.

Whenever I try to access it using Media Organizer it says "Invalid Data in Butler". Same thing for most other personalities.

The problem began with invalid data in only one personality, now it is in nearly every personality.

Media Organizer sugests to delete the data, but that attempt fails.

When I try to delete or access data via WindowsExplorer it says it cannot open the directory.

There is no important data on my RS - so can I just format the drive? It is not a SD-Card, it is the built-in memory. Windows says it is FAT-format.

yes you can just format the drive. To windows its just like any other usb attached drive.

Once you have formatted it start up the media organizer and click the restore button near the bottom and go make a coffe whilst it reinstalls the default personalities.

Thanks a lot!

Will try it tomorrow.

I just wanted to be sure not to make the situation worse (being unable to restore the original data) before hitting the "format"-button.
