I love WowWee's robots, but I'm not quite sure I get the interactive chimp head. It seems a little... strange... to me. Does anyone have one, or has anyone seen one in person? What's the appeal?

Ancestor worship?

I have always felt a close kinship to chimps. And a real affection for them.

After all, we descended from creatures that were essentially "upright walking chimps" about 2 million years ago.

Planet of the ApesI fixed the video link above.

Here is the trick: when you click on the youtubebutton you DON'T insert the WHOLE URL: http://youtube.com/watch?v=ncXkdeRRjiQ

 Instead you only inser the specific youtube code lifted from WITHIN the url:  ncXkdeRRjiQ

* * * * *

BTW

love the hands with the talking chimp in your truly-silly elmo video... for those few seconds it was impossible to believe the Alive Chimp wasn't real.

Right out of Planet of the Apes (sort of).
