RS Media Puts On His Thinking Cap at Carnegie Mellon

And you thought that the RS Media was just for fun, eh?  With his customizable code and flexible programming, the RS Media is also ideal for higher education.

Carnegie Mellon University is running a course entitled "16-264: Humanoids," in which the RS Media takes center stage.  WowWee donated 40 RS Media robots for the course!  The goal of the course is to get students introduced to the wide range of research involved with humanoids, human-robot interaction, programming, kinematics, and more. 

So far, the class has submitted results for a RS Media dance contest, and another lesson on how the RS Media learns.  Here's a sample video from the dance contest lesson:
