Well I have to comment that the Tribot and Mr Personality aren't exactly what I was expecting or hoping for. It leads me to question whether Wowee are into real robotics, or are just into making money out of the toy market? Maybe people of my generation are still expecting something out of an Asimov novel to rise up from the factory testbed and start doing really useful things? Obviously thats a long way off yet, but I was dreaming that the much vaunted Robosapien V3 might be a step closer...... Even so, the Rovio looks like it might be an exciting product. It would be very useful to check the house whilst on holiday via a mobile, just to check that the oven hadn't been left on!I was also impressed by the CES video of the Femesapien: it seems that Wowee have put a lot of effort into smoothing out the biomorphic movement, but I 'm disappointed that none of the new humanoid models seem to have articulated gripping hands. I reckon that the V2 has the monopoly on that! Come on Mr. Tilden, we we want something five foot tall, that can vacuum the floor, walk the dog, admire the wifes hairdo and protect us from alien attack! Where is it...he she....?

I guess these things are ok.  Not what I was hoping for though.  It doesn't look like Mark Tilden had much to do with this one.

Keep the robotic dreams,

Yeah, i was hoping for something along the lines of what RobotArchie said, But you know what they say...   You Can't Rush Perfection!      and plus this kind of stuff takes time... but i was hoping for a v3 at the CES 08.

The Revolution will never end! :P
