Robo News Articles

I'm sure that you have your own desktop companion, and if you don't - you should! They're fun and they often take on a personality all their own. If you have a wild imagination, like I do, even the inanimate ones can be pretty fun. In this photo you can see my tireless companion Piplup, my rotating trout, and my desktop Death Star...

One of my dreams as a kid was to have a movie theater in my room.  I never expected to have a giant 300 inch silver screen, of course, but always wished I could lay down on my bed and watch Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles right on my ceiling, or project my latest Nintendo game on the wall.

Like the Femisapien, Joebot ditches the standard remote control interface for easy to use "joystick hands". But WowWee didn't stop there, Joebot is the...

The latest robot from WowWee Robotics, the RS Media, is chock full of features, and as the name suggests, particularly multimedia-related ones. This article sums up most of the notable features of the RS Media.

At first glance, the RS Media has a look and feel like the Robosapien, but starts to differ when you start to look at...

This article will show you how to modify your original WowWee Elvis cartridge to accept an xD picture card. If you want to retain the original files from your cartridge, you will need to do that on your own.  I cannot post the original files because of their copyrighted content. Please do not ask me or any other members for these files...

Previously, we dumped the original contents of the Elvis cartridge and constructed a custom cartridge in order to decode the animation script format.  In part one, I presented the theory that was proposed in discussion on the forums.  It turns out that this theory was correct.  I owe a fellow RoboCommunity member, Sevik, a great deal of...
