Hands On with the WowWee FemiSapien at CES 2008
Posted by Peter Redmer on Wednesday, 16 January 2008FemiSapien, the most agile walking female robot to date, has made her debut at CES this year! You can interact with her using sight, sound or touch. Her 4-way joystick hands can be used to change her motion, and even to program a sequence of moves.
She's super-intelligent: using her own unique language, FemiSapien can "talk" with you, and even control other WowWee robots. Guess she's the "take-charge" type!
Finally, this robotic muse can definitely tear up the dance floor; play your favorite song, and she'll rock on to the beat. How cool is that?
Check out more detailed information on FemiSapien, and the rest of the new WowWee product line, here at RoboCommunity. Enjoy this hands-on video from CES to get a preview of what FemiSapien can do!

So the arms seem to have more
So the arms seem to have more articulation that I would have expected give their size. Since she is the V1's girlfriend, I assume she is the same height?

I don't have any specific
I don't have any specific measurements, but I can tell you that she is actually slightly taller than the Robosapien V1. When we get the specific stats, we'll be sure to post them.
